Our National Kendo Champs are usually held every three years and in the year of the World Kendo Championships. Due to Covid, we have not held a Champs since 2018. It is with great pleasure that 60 Kendo Shiaisha will be travelling to Christchurch for the champs.
Here will be contested a goodwill Junior champs, Women’s and Men’s Open Division, a Women’s Team event of three competitors and a Men’s Event of five competitors. There will be a Veterens Embu event for 5th dan Kenshi 50 years and above. There will also be a kata division.
